Common questions

Is installation included in the monthly price?
Installation is not included in the standard HaaS price. We quote installation separately based on site and volume — it is typically a one-off cost. For large deployments our partners handle installation locally.
What is the minimum contract length?
Our standard term is 36 months, which covers the hardware amortisation. Pilot projects are available on shorter fixed-scope terms — contact us to discuss.
Can I mix BrighterBins sensors and VisnLine cameras?
Yes. Both products run on the same SmartEnds OS platform. You get a single dashboard, single data feed, and one invoice regardless of how many product types you deploy.
What connectivity does BrighterBins use?
BrighterBins supports NB-IoT and LoRaWAN. The right protocol depends on your region and existing network infrastructure — we will advise during the scoping call.
Do you offer a pilot before full deployment?
Yes — we encourage it. Pilots are fixed-price and fixed-scope, typically 30 to 100 units over 8 to 12 weeks. Most customers move to full deployment within 3 months of completing a pilot.
What happens if a sensor or camera fails?
Hardware faults are covered under the HaaS subscription. We replace faulty units at no additional cost. Remote diagnostics means we often detect issues before you do.
